Mission and Strategic Plan

The WLN has accepted the challenge to make a difference.  Decisions affecting nursing practice are being made at the state level which will have an impact on the future of nursing and health care delivery.  We influence these decisions through our active participation in the Wisconsin Nursing Coalition and cooperative relationships with other state nursing organizations.  Our future is outlined in the
Strategic Plan.

The Wisconsin League for Nursing promotes excellence in nursing education to build a strong and diverse nursing workforce to advance the health of our nation and the global community.

The Wisconsin League for Nursing, Inc. (WLN) was incorporated in 1952 to foster development and improvement of organized nursing services through the coordinate action of nurses, allied health professionals and citizens to meet the health care needs of the community.

The Wisconsin League for Nursing will be a leader in the promotion of nursing education to enhance the quality of health and health care in Wisconsin.  Our vision is in our  bylaws .
